Today was my 5th and last visit on SLLE – SL Living Expo.
If you haven’t made it you should run as tomorrow, Sunday 12th it will close.
At the expo there is always a memorial garden where you can light a candle for the loved ones you know who suffers, suffered or passed away from cancer.
I did that too here and meanwhile all candles are lit – the little garden is beautifully designed and you can spend some time there.
I think we all have one or more loved ones, suffering from cancer or passed away.
For me the first time I got to know about it I was 12 years old, when I met a girl of my age as a new classmate suffering from cancer and she wanted to go to school . We got very good friends and she really made her exam and then passed away with 15. This was not easy for me as a young girl but showed me a lot about how she handled and lived with it. Over the years there were my uncle, colleagues and friends I lost. For all of them, I lit my candle, thinking of them .
Dear all, visit the Expo raising awareness of this disease and the sales raising funds for the American Cancer Society, helping us all !
Thanks to the SL team which made a beautiful awareness and Fundraising Expo !
