Recently I got aware of a behaviour of bloggers, who are leaving their sponsors (creators or events or groups) they are blogging for without a word. Well, in my opinion also your sonsor deserves a message, that you are leaving.
You don’t need to give a reason, only a little information is sufficient that they know you are leaving. This is a reason that bloggers are in a bad light. There are so many hard working bloggers out there, who would love for different creators but never have a chance because they don’t meet the requirements – no I don’t want to talk about some of the requirements which are in my opinion too high sometimes – but reliable bloggers, hard working ones, would love to be accepted but because of that they are not and then some of the other ones, leaving without a word.
I am managing a big inworld review group of bloggers and designers. I also experience this behaviour and we once had over 100 bloggers.
They applied and when they are in the group, they maybe don’t want to blog that or whatever and leave without a word!
With every blogger we have a lot of work to do , to add to lists, to add to the blog site and so on. After a while we find out when checking reports, they applied, they maybe took things, didn’t do anything and left without a word.
Bloggers when you apply for a group or a creator, be so good and read rules, requirements and look what they offer, if this is what you want to blog !!!
And yes I also did mistakes, we all do but we all learn. I can understand everyone who doesn’t want to add bloggers to their team any more or work with less bloggers. As I said, we also had once more bloggers – I did a blogger call and hope we have some bloggers who will stay and be kind and knows the rules in socializing. I am really to think, adding this to requirements !

There’s always a percentage of people who just cheat and ‘take’ in every area of SL life. I remember when I was a creator years back before Mesh was invented, that I attended an event (which I paid to do so) in which the organisers asked all the creators to provide a gift in addition to their vendors. My gift was picked up over a thousand times and nobody purchased anything from my vendors. Apparently, this happened to a large number of creators at this particular event. You’re never going to be able to stop freeloaders but as far as bloggers are concerned, you should be able to check their past work and how long they have kept their sponsors. Even a reference from a sponsor or two would be useful and give you some idea of their authenticity, longevity and efficacy.

yes thats what I am always doing, checking their blogs and flickr. Recently bloggers get so many negativity as we are all liek the ones who are freeloaders and don’t do anything. So we hard working bloggers are thrown into the same pot I would say and thats not making a good feeling.
